We’re on the prowl for a Digital Strategist. Someone who’s passionate about search marketing and has a strong interest in usability, making sense of data, and optimizing for conversions.

We approach digital marketing differently. While it’s important that you have the fundamentals of SEO and PPC, you will be expected to approach each project in a solution agnostic manner that puts emphasis on increasing revenue as efficiently as possible within the confines of each budget. There is less focus here on selling off the shelf products and more emphasis on building tailored solutions that take into account the many nuances of an organization, the vertical it operates in, its customers, and of course its fiscal confines. We are big on measurement and changing course to address new opportunities or trends in the marketplace.

This position requires the planning and implementation of search engine optimization and pay-per-click campaigns for a growing roster of clients. You will work collaboratively with the Digital Marketing team to execute targeted campaigns and tailored digital strategies.

On a day to day basis, you will be managing SEO and PPC campaigns, performing keyword research, writing ad copy, building reports, providing clients with strategic advice, developing expertise, and contributing to our business development efforts and positioning.

About you

You're a skilled, well-rounded digital marketing pro with a few years of experience managing a portfolio of SEO and PPC clients and developing comprehensive marketing strategies across search, PPC, and other digital channels. You should not have any difficulty managing, presenting, or reporting to clients. Excellent communication skills are important.

You have a foundation of skills that includes search engine optimization, PPC, tracking and analytics, social media marketing (identifying opportunities, not building campaigns), and website optimization. You can design, build and execute digital marketing that address high-level goals. You should have experience with industry standard platforms, and confidently measure and adapt.

The macro conversion goals are similar in the niche that we operate out of; therefore you’ll be expected to design strategies and campaigns that provide utility and scale between clients with similar objectives.


  • Know your way around Google Analytics
  • You love to crunch data, make sense of it, and know how to act on it
  • Capable of doing reporting and presentation of data, strategy, insights, KPI's to clients
  • Experience with Google Tag Manager
  • Basic understanding of goals, events, tracking, conversions, and ecommerce optimization
  • Basic understanding of UX and usability principles as it applies to websites


  • Ability to do  SEO and manage a portfolio of clients
  • Able to build a strong SEO strategy and tweak on an ongoing basis
  • Strong understanding of search engine algorithms and white hat techniques
  • Capable of conducting keyword research and implementing findings through the site’s metadata etc.
  • Capable of conducting SEO Audits
  • Strong understanding of content and its effect on organic rankings
  • Strong knowledge of Google Analytics and Webmaster Tools, in addition to software like Moz or SEMrush
  • Ability to oversee the technical implementation of websites from a search engine optimization standpoint


  • Experience developing, managing and reporting on PPC/Display campaigns for your own portfolio of clients
  • Proven success in building new campaigns, writing strong ads, and managing campaigns on a day-to-day basis
  • Strategic thinking to align digital marketing efforts to support your client’s marketing goals
  • Demonstrated expertise in setting up segmented remarketing campaigns
  • Creative brainstorming and recommendations for new PPC experiments or advertising-related A/B tests
  • You understand the value in reaching the right audience, not necessarily the largest one

Bonus points for

  • Ability to build campaigns, write strong ads, and manage campaigns on a day-to-day basis on Google Ads and Bing.
  • Google certifications (Analytics, Google Ads Search/Display/Mobile etc)
  • Experience with advertising on social platforms like Facebook, TripAdvisor, Yelp, YouTube, and LinkedIn.
  • Knowledge or experience with retargeting.
  • Experience with ad buying or display advertising an asset.
  • Experience with heat maps, multivariate testing, and landing page optimization.
  • Experience working with booking engines in the hospitality sector.
